Presets

Presets are named configurations that let you quickly apply a set of settings without adjusting each one individually.

Available Presets

Default — Balanced defaults. Hides nothing and repositions nothing. Good starting point for most scenes.

Light Clean — Hides unused sockets only. No structural changes. Useful when you just want a cleaner node tree without altering layout.

Full Clean — The most aggressive preset. Collapses math and map range nodes, adds reroutes, removes stray reroutes, removes viewers, groups nodes by output, and marks unused nodes for removal.

Force Directed — Full Clean combined with force-directed repositioning. Best for large, complex node trees where you need a clean, spread-out layout.

Align Grid — Full Clean combined with grid alignment. Best for neat, organized layouts where nodes snap to a grid.

Creating Custom Presets

  1. Configure the settings in the Node Janitor panel to your liking.

  2. Click the Add Preset button in the panel.

  3. Give your preset a name and it will be saved.

  4. Your preset will appear in the dropdown menu for future use.

To remove a custom preset, select it from the dropdown and click the Remove Preset button (the button with the minus icon).
